Well, I understand it if you don't. Of course there are scads of people affiliated with Penn who are a part of this neighborhood. Penn and its subsidiaries are ubiquitous. Believe it or not, I don't feel that's a problem. I feel there are plenty of reasons for on-campus computer contacts off-campus; especially if it has to do with the business of Penn on community-based projects etc.. Is that what this listserv is supposed to do?
My understanding is that people felt it necessary to from a "community listserv" with a Penn sig. with malice aforethought in order to in effect filter/censor people because THEY do not like their arguments, statements opinions, etc. Brian Siano in his post to me made that abundantly clear. I had asked for clarification as to who or what constituted "bad traffic". At least Brian was not so craven as not answer the question. He gets points for honesty.
