Certainly not.

Glenn does NOT represent the community, nor do I nor you.

However, the University City Historical Society and the Spruce Hill
Community Association, (amongst other community associations), HAS worked
with all the major players at Penn, The West Philadelphia Partnership, the
UCD, the Zoning Office at City Hall, City Planning Commission etc. for at
least 25 years.

This hotel goes completely against everything they stood for to preserve our
"Victorian Neighborhood".

I should think THEY should have been the major opposition to the proposed
hotel project and NOT Karen Allen or Glenn Moyer.

With this link you may read about the UCHS and SHCA Historic District.

Very well. Glenn may have raised several questions in response to Karen
Allen's letter.

Still, if there has been a threat to the historical integrity of our area,
the UCHS and the SHCA were always quite vocal in opposition.

Why not now?
