After running pre-split-scanner 6.5b1 versions for several months I decided to try out the latest (17-Aug) nightly. I'm running slimserver on a PPC LinkStation (HD-HG) that is hacked to run Debian. I downloaded the tarball, and built the perl modules as per usual. When I try to run slimserver, either via script or simple command line, I'm getting the following error messages, after which slimserver dies (it never really gets started, but the process is there trying to get going for a little while):
060817 11:28:19 /usr/sbin/mysqld: ambiguous option '--innodb' (innodb_data_file_path, innodb_force_recovery) 2006-08-17 11:28:48.4648 ERROR: MySQLHelper: createSystemTables() Couldn't connect to database: [Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/home/slimserver/Cache/slimserver-mysql.sock' (2)] Any suggestions on what to try next? Later I'll also try it on my regular desktop running Ubuntu, but I want it running on the LinkStation. thanks. -- aubuti ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26468 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
