I'd just like to say a big thank-you to everyone who's contributed to this, and the other threads giving advice on installing Slimserver onto ClarkConnect.
I assembled a Shuttle xpc in about 2 hours one evening last week, and then installed CC and the latest Slimserver 6.5.1 nightly the next evening and everything worked immediately. This was my first experience with Linux and I couldn't had done it without the advice found here. Putty and Winscp have been invaluable in getting my music transfered to my windows XP laptop to the new server, even though I still can not see my shared folders from windows explorer!
