The easy way to use CC with XP is to setup samba (File Sharing) via the
web UI (http:/cc_ip:81). Set the security to 'share' and enable WINS
support. Enable the public shared folder (/home/shared). Start or
restart samba and set it to start automatically.

After a short while you should be able to browse for the CC machine on
your XP network and you can then setup a windows drive to map to
/home/shared. Then make your Music and Playlist directories under
/home/shared and ensure they have the correct permissions on the CC
box. I don't think /root is a good place to put your music directory
as it's meant as the 'home' directory for the root user and has
permissions set accordingly.

In EAC, set your ripping destination as X:\Music (assuming you mapped
/home/shared to X:) and Bob's yer uncle.
