As an addendum to my previous post - the problem might not be in Samba, DSL, or SlimCD, but in Windows XP. Regardless, I am stuck!
Are there any settings I might make in the [global] section of smb.conf that might help solve the problem? I have done some research, tried a few things, but nothing seems to help.
