can open in SS (from server settings / help) seem to be broken.  The
freestanding SQ crashed and now won't reinstall from Help (although I
previously had it running fine);  and the applet sometimes opens, and
several bits work - but if I press and hold 'Pause' to stop a track,
the applet crashes, and only a reboot gets it back.  (No reports in
dmesg;  don't know what other logs to look at.)

I've tried updating SS to a more recent nightly, but no joy.  I fear
the next step is to do a clean install (though I guess I can always
save and reinstall my prefs file, to avoid all the setting up.)

Forgive me, but I don't understand how this lets you chose / switch
between sun-java-5 and sun-java-6.
