I am planning to start doing nightly full rescans of albums and covers. Since I have the OS (ClarkConnect) running on an SSD I would perefer to let the directory that holds the SQL database files be on the regular harddrive to prevent too many writes to the SSD. At least for now.
I assmume all database files are saved in the directory specified by the command line option to sql (--datadir). The machine I have access to right now says --datadir=/var/lib/mysql Is this correct? Are there other files or directories to consider? (/var/log and /var/run are already mounted as ramdisks). -- Espen ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Espen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15057 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=45718 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
