I let dtrace run for 90 minutes on my system looking for any mysqld
driven file open requests and in that time there have been no file open
requests made by mysqld.  This is, of course, not playing any music.  It
looks like putting the database files on a seperate disk won't be an
issue except for the first request which will be delayed waiting for
the disk to spin up.
