Personally, I'm running into some problems with Fedora 9. Without really extensive testing, I'm kind of going out on a limb here, but you might find Fedora 8 a more stable platform for running SqueezeCenter at this point.
One of the things I'm seeing is that I'm having trouble stopping the squeezecenter service.
