Hi, Have finally moved, so have been able to focus on getting the WOL issue resolved. In the end I did some googling and thought there might be a problem with a recalcitrant NIC and came across a solution that you could download as a tarball file that simply went through and configured everything. http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-234588.html Have tried it a couple times and it seems to work. Yippee! Thanks to all who stuck with me trying to get this to work.
