'cat /proc/acpi/wakeup' never showed an entry for my network card, but
I enabled all what I found in there anyway when I was experimenting,
but it had no effect.
I have thought to use laptop-mode too on this box, I have used it
already on my Arch notebook. I will see what it can serve this box and
probably will tweak the hard disk in regard to power consumption too.
acpi doesn't seem to be needed on this 800MHz Via fan-less thin client
box anyway, since its' predecessor apm seems to do the same job very
well. My kill-o-watt shows a power consumption between 19 and 22 watt
while the box is serving one Duet and one SB3, CPU temperature is 42°C
and hard disk is 28°C. The nice thing of this box is that shut down
with wol enabled it consumes less than 1 watt (the kill-o-watt measures
only in 1 watt steps and shows 0 watt), my old desktop uses 14 watt in
that state. The next thing I will try is to make all work with suspend
to disk, the box wakes much faster from this state.
I have put again Ubuntu on the box and will write down in detail the
steps needed in the next weeks, maybe that will be useful to someone.
