You should run 'make' to create the executable in your 'bin' directory.
You can execute the program by typing
Code:
--------------------
./bin/squeezeslave-alsa
--------------------
in your source directory. If you get your executable working, you can
copy the file to a directory that's included in your PATH environment
variable (e.g. /usr/local/bin, or /usr/bin), so you can execute
squeezeslave-alsa from any working directory.
You might have never compiled from source before, but a bit of
creativity and perseverance gets you a long way ;)
@Lem: I replaced my c3 with a c7 a while ago and it runs fine. Do a
google for "via c3 i586" or "via c3 i686" to read about the problems
people are experiencing with pre-compiled binaries on the c3.
