Hi. I've just recently built a mini-itx server and are running Vortexbox. Three cheers for Vortexbox and a Paypal donation coming Andrew's way. Couldn't be simpler. Simple to install and even simpler to use - just insert the CD you wish to rip and it does the rest - includng tagging and finding the art work. Magical.
One thing to be wary of - my MB, a Foxconn 45CS runs quite hot (the Northbidge). I'm not sure if this is true of all Atom boards with the 945GC NB (this one is passive cooled). I used a slimline case with a notebook DVD drive and a 1TB WD caviar green HD. It get's pretty warm in there - and the fans are noisy. I'm looking at some better fans - but these are 2x40mm. Not ideal. Just a word of caution. Otherwise I'm very happy with the setup.
