Excuse my ignorance but need a little help. What are the new terminal commands in 10.04 for starting, stopping and restarting squeezeboxserver?
I used to use "sudo /etc/init.d/squeezeboxserver start" etc but this seems to have been superceded by something else. I'm using "sudo squeezeboxserver" to start the server which seems to work but generates complaints about "squeezeboxserver cannot run as root" or something like that. 10.04 and Squeezeboxserver 7.5.1 otherwise working fine. -- ian_heys ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ian_heys's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2629 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77971 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
