I currently run the latest stable on a Via esther 1.5Ghz with 1 gig ram. Music (330 gig, 23k songs) on sata disk and imho it is to slow to be usable.
The interface on the squeezebox classic (connected to this server) is good, no problem there. The Touch seems to have a lag, and stutter in the interface. (you see it lag behind, really annoying). The webinterface is unusable..
