Hmm, I ran SBS a while on a 800 MHz VIA on Ubuntu server with a 250 GByte HD and 12000 or so tracks. The web interface wasn't very fast but far from unusable, I could easily live with it. A current 7.6 SQLite SBS version might even be faster on such a machine now.
