Hey there internet people,

I am a long time user of the SlimServer, but relatively new to the
Linux on my Sheevaplug (Debian version - squeeze/sid) and have run into
an issue.

My squeezeboxserver seems to be having issues starting properly and I
am not entirely sure how to fault find it.

I thought I might be able to solve the issue by upgrading the version
from the previously working 7.4.2 to the current 7.5.3 version, but it
still appears to be unavailable.
I can ping the server, but get nothing on the :9000 port, so I believe
that it is failing somewhere along the line.

When I ask it to '/etc/init.d/squeezeboxserver' I get the following:

Your locale was detected as C, you may have problems with non-Latin
filenames. Consider changing your LANG variable to the correct locale,
i.e. en_US.utf8
NOTE: Class::XSAccessor 1.05+ not found, install it for better
performance
ERROR: you didn't tell me how to implement your appender 'server' at
/usr/share/squeezeboxserver/CPAN/Log/Log4perl/Config.pm line 347.

If I run 'ps ax | grep slimserver ' I get the following result:
6484 pts/0 S<+ 0:00 grep slimserver

I am at a bit of a loss with it (and a linux noob too) so please be
gentle with me.

R
