Reasons I've been shying away from ext4 (and these are not well
researched and I may be completely wrong):

1). ext3 is backwards compatible with ext2.  You can mount a ext3 drive
as ext2 with no issues.  The SBTouch will happily mount and use a ext2
fs drive and therefore a ext3 drive is appropriate both for a SBS
server and a SBTouch.  I'm not sure if the SBTouch can deal with ext4. 
This kind of swapability isn't necessary, of course...just potentially
handy.

2). I want the audio drive to spin down when not in use.  I haven't
looked into how to mount a ext4 drive so that it stays spun-down.

All that said, my / mount point on my server is ext4.
