I've moved from Ubuntu to Arch Linux (www.archlinux.org) this week on my
SB server (Athlon64) and it works fine so far, I even could get WOL
after suspend enabled again, yay.
But what I wanted to point out actually is that with Arch you can get
to manage a very minimal install, which may be important on your
EEE-PC. Even Ubuntu server has a lot of programs running on a default
minimal install. I use Arch for maybe 5 years now on my laptop because
it is much snappier than any other distro I have tried on it, command
line administration is very easy and it uses a 'rolling' release
scheme. I am currently using SBS 7.5.4 through an Arch-community
provided (thanks vesath!) 'package' (when is 7.6 getting released,
Logitech, btw?). Installation is not as easy as with Ubuntu, but quite
comprehensive when following the documentation.
