Update - reinstalled ubuntu and 7.6 ..... it's working in that I can get to the webpage ... nothing else seems to work, eg. no radio streams play - they just reconnect ad infinitum ...
I'm just trying the tablet as an experiment ... if I can get the radio streams working, and ultimately a mounted link to my files on another PC then I'll be happy. Any ideas on enabling the radio streams? Could it simply be a case of enabling WMA in iplayer settings? I'd use it as a backup for my PC based system. Can you think of a way around the lost log directory problem? I'll switch it off tonight ... and be prepared to reinstall it all again tomorrow! At the very least, we've proved it works in principle! But what a pain compared to Windows!!!
