Ubuntu has moved from perl 5.10 to 5.12.

Squeezebox server requires binary modules for some of its libraries
which are specific to the perl release. The distributions of 7.5 and
7.6 do not include these for the newer perl on Ubuntu. They are
however included in the 7.7 beta release.

This is the main reason why Ubuntu 11.10 will run 7.7 and not previous
releases. For the moment the easiest way to get SBS running is to
upgrade to a 7.7 beta.
