I've just added intel 32 bit and arm hard float binaries of a new version which includes support for crossfade and fade in/out. I have had a couple of requests for this, so hope some people can test and it was worth adding.
At present it uses a linear fade which is the same as squeezeplay, but I may look at whether some form of exponential fade would be more appropriate - interested in your thoughts. Note that to achieve a full 10 seconds of crossfade will require you to increase the output buffer slightly from the default. Otherwise crossfade will be limited to around 9 seconds. This is because crossfading reduces the effective buffer size, so I've reserved 10% of the buffer for actually buffering. Fade in/out will extend to the full 10 seconds. Feedback appreciated... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Triode's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
