I've installed dropbear as ssh server and so far this als works, but I can not login as root, only as a user I created first, but then I struggled with sudo. We should find out how to be root with putty. I've installed dropbear from the repositories and started it with /usr/local/etc/init.d/dropbear start The other very small change I made is, I placed this line in /opt/bootlocal.sh amixer set PCM 400 unmute This slides up the tune from the Pi.
