That did the trick Triode! The problem was with the ssh session. Indeed I run jivelite normally using the console with a bluetooth keyboard and everything is now up and running. I was getting nuts as jivelite was working well on my server running ubuntu but to be honest when I tried jivelite on the server I used the normal console/keyboard and when I tried jivelite on my raspberry pi I used the ssh session..that's why! Can I raise the following two points: 1. Would it be possible to implement the Applet Installer under Settings/Advanced? 2. When jivelite starts up the image on my HDMI TV is too big. Would it be possible to make it fit the TV screen automatically?
