Too geeky? LOL.

You need to write the image to the card, then mount the uboot partition
under Linux and run a script to select and install the right uboot
components specific to your board.

OK, let's try and make this easier for you. I need to know which version
of the Cubieboard you have. 512MB or 1024MB RAM? Then I'll do the bit
you need to do under Linux, make a new img for you, you download it and
use Win32DiskImager to write it to the card from Windows. Then you
should just be able to put the card in the Cubie and fingers crossed it
will boot.
