Not sure if this helps but my wandboard has come up with:
[fedora@wandboard ~]$ cat /proc/asound/cards
0 [imxspdif ]: imx-spdif - imx-spdif
imx-spdif
1 [imxhdmisoc ]: imx-hdmi-soc - imx-hdmi-soc
imx-hdmi-soc
2 [MDAC ]: USB-Audio - Audiolab M-DAC
Lakewest Audio Audiolab M-DAC at
usb-fsl-ehci.1-1.3, full speed

So the sgtl5000 was not recognised. dmesg is full of: "[14889.493590]
ALSA sound/usb/mixer.c:2129 status interrupt: 80 02", so can't see what
happened at boot time, but it suggests that this may be a more common
problem with that device? I'll reboot a couple of times and see what I
see...
