Erland,

Super feedback! Thank you. I'll pick up an a couple of points and then
pick up the others later. Firstly, me developing any front-end code is a
little bit of a hit and hope, in as much as I am probably the worst
person to be doing it and spend too much time thinking of things from a
developer rather than a user point of view. That anything kind of works,
(if you can guess how it is meant to work), is a bonus! ;) With regard
to artistic/layout talent, anything I ever do on the front-end is going
to be functional rather than pretty. I have spent very little time on
layout, it is something that does need to be improved from both a looks
and usability point of view.

Take your point about the save and reboot buttons on the wi-fi page. It
should probably be combined into a "Save and Reboot" button. There is a
reason it hasn't been. If you view the source for the web page you'll
see that the buttons for ifdown, ifup and ipdown/Up have been hidden,
but the actions still work. I took the deision to not expose this as I
was worried that it might cause more hindrance than help to non-techy
users. But you could have saved the wi-fi settings, then assuming you
are still on the ethernet interface,
wandboard:8080/CommunitySqueeze/Wireless_upDown.action, and should have
been able to see from the repopulated status box following the interface
being taken down and back up again, that the interface had connected and
been given an IP Address. It's difficult knowing what to expose and what
not to expose.

Code:
--------------------

  wandboard:8080/CommunitySqueeze/Wireless_up.action
  wandboard:8080/CommunitySqueeze/Wireless_down.action
  wandboard:8080/CommunitySqueeze/Wireless_downUp.action
  wandboard:8080/CommunitySqueeze/Ethernet_up
  wandboard:8080/CommunitySqueeze/Ethernet_down.action
  wandboard:8080/CommunitySqueeze/Ethernet_downUp.action

--------------------

I'll add "Shutdown" and "Reboot" to the index page. I've actually done a
fair amount of testing of just pulling the power rather than clean
shutdown. So far ext4 has dealt with receovering from the journal
without needing to drop to a single user shell for fsck. Touch wood!

Take your point about having a radio-button for dhcp/static and
greying-out the text-fields that you don't need to populate for dhcp.
There are a bunch of things that could be done better, had it not been a
case of just get something working, put out a release with a few warts,
and polish it afterwards.

I'm not sure what the discovery logic is in squeezelite for which LMS
server it connects to. But at the point you get a LMS instance running
on the Wandboard, (the on-board LMS service is disabled by default on
the image), I'd kind of hope that if you get that working, you could be
technical enough to figure out what IP Address to put in the squeezelite
config text field, save and hit the button to restart the service. ;)

Anyway, thank you for your feedback. I'll re-read your post later and
take on board your other points.
