If you are going to go down this path, you are probably better to do
this via the system-wide /etc/asound.conf rather than a user specific
.asoundrc. Either way, you'll need to create the file, it won't exist
before you do. I've attached the /etc/asound.conf used by the Touch to
combine on-board audio and spdif output. It won't work as is, but it's
probably not a reasonable starting point. Sorry, I don't have time to
look at this right now. (Or anything else for that matter.)
