Hello, At this point i am still using the Touch... But some day it will stop working and Squeezelite looks very promising. I would like to start experimenting with it and i am searching for a hardware device that is suitable for squeezelite and is capable of High-res audio and is small, cool and cheap.
Some use the Raspberri PI. I understood that because of the fact that LAN and USB were on the same hardware bus there are problems with high res audio like 24bit - 192Khz. Pogoplug is being used, which model? Are all models suitable? Is the Pogoplug Series 4 an option? An open WRT router is an option, but i rather use an other option. I allready have a router and from my provider i have to use that one. Cannot add Open WRT on that one and adding another makes things complicated imo. Are there other cheap mini computers i could use?
