Sorry - I've no idea! Can you give me a clue about how to test this - a test audio file or something?
The main problem with the Cubie is that the support forums are small - and (for me) very technical. I use a Fedora image initially provided by JackofAll - it's faster than RPi. Cubieboard had a sale on a couple of weeks ago - may still be active - at 49 USD.
