There is no physical digital port on Cubie - you need to either wire up analog socket or optical driver & socket. Some users have connected SPDIF analog out direct to a DAC and have said it worked but this may not be best circuit as it is direct to CPU and there is no protection from blowing up CPU also there may be impedence issues. IIRC on the cubie forums spdif driver supplied with Cubie have max of 48k - I have not seen anybody test with any higher bit rates and I guess if it is possible it will require mods to spdif drivers.
