I fully accept my test has, as you put it, violated the FHS. But wonder it that alone is what is causing the above error. The command I used to start slimserver.pl is just a slightly modded version of what would be inside an initscript, and was executed as root.
So, some of the dirs under /opt/logitechmediaserver-7.7.2-33893-noCPAN/ are redundant. I did not start the other per 5.18 thread, I simply followed up on the OP and then Michael. I have tried to keep this thread on subject, re: me blundering through a solution on which you have been kind enough to offer valuable advice. Unfortunately, I have been trying do this on and off when I can snatch a bit of time. A poor approach. I'm going to start from a clean slate, and see if don't end with the same YAML problem. I'll shut up now. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Krisbee's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59080 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99584 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
