If you get the same YAML error again (which I haven't encountered myself) after re-doing the build from scratch, you should check if your binary perl modules are correctly installed. e.g. you should have a /opt/logitechmediaserver-7.7.2-33893-noCPAN/CPAN/arch/5.14/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/auto/YAML/XS/LibYAML/LibYAML.so file (the x86_64-linux-thread-multi part depends on your system architecture)
