Thanks for the feed-back. You can easily try it yourself. Just put the SD-card into any computer, and then you are able to edit the cmdline.txt file (and it will be permanent). Then use your edited SD-card in your raspbery. Please report back if it solves your problem - then I can add it as a "tweak option" in the menu-script.
