I've built a armhf version compiled with -DRESAMPLE -DFFMPEG -DVISEXPORT support on debian 7.0. The 'tar file' (http://squeezeslave.googlecode.com/files/squeezelite-1.3-armhf.tar.gz) includes the ffmpeg and soxr libraries needed to support wma/alac and resampling. I'm not sure if these will work with picoplayer but if you copy the lib* files to /usr/local/lib the included squeezelite binary will search for them there.
