I have set up one RPi with piCoPlayer and enjoyed it so much that I decided to set up another for my son. The first one was on ethernet but my son's needs to be on wireless. I have the Edimax EW-7811UN dongle and I can set it up perfectly but it loses the wifi config when I reboot and I have to reconnect via ethernet and ssh back to reconfigure the wifi . Investigating a bit more, ifconfig indicates that wlan0 is not up at all until after I go through the re-configuration.
Looking at earlier posts, this seemed to be an issue with earlier releases but has been fixed?. I don't want to go in and start fiddling with boot files if that isn't the right fix.
