Yes LMS is installed in the image, it can be controlled through the
webGui. The Quad board has a working SATA controler, so you can use
either SATA or USB for a direct connected drive, or mount a drive over
Ethernet. 

The SATA connector is a standard motherboard type connector so you will
need a SATA->eSATA adapter to connect to an eSATA drive.

The LMS is a full version so it can be controlled through the standard
LMS web page and also some control is available through the CSOS
webGui.

The Wandboard does quite well with LMS, just remember it is ARM
architecture so the few olugins that are designed to work on X86
architecture won't work.
