It would be good to amend the USB DAC section of the piCorePlayer website to include a) a "not fully tested" option for the MAX sample rate (or retitle "Tested up to...") and b) a comment field to qualify "working".
Let me explain... On the MAX sample rate: I am only able to test DACs with standard 44.1/48k files, so what can I put as the max sample rate? 48k? It could be higher! On comments: I've tested a Fiio E17 and a Behringer UCA202. Of the two, the E17 is vastly superior giving fantastic quality output such that I got hooked listening to music streaming off my NAS. The UCA202 works, but is plagued by periodic clicks so I really couldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a hifi solution.
