To follow up on the great tips from dsdreamer, you also might consider
to create a subdirectory in /storage  and use that directory as the
mounting point. 
For example /storage/nasmusic. You can create directories with the mkdir
command.
This will avoid getting into trouble when mounting several external
sources.
