Interesting..... In as much as when they first released the DAC2, which was some time back, I bought one. Never did get it working with USB under Linux. There was some discussion at the time, which if my memory serves me correctly, it was put to W4S that the DAC was using an OEM hiface module for USB input, something which they denied and claimed it was of their own design...... So interesting, that the hiface module is being used. I've long since sold my DAC2, but I still suspect that for the money, for a store bought DAC, you couldn't do any better. I know since then, they have released a DSD version of the DAC2, for which they claim "driverless" with Linux, which translates to "should be UAC2 compliant and using the snd-usb-audio driver". ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99395 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
