I know this works great with the iTunes plugin but I was not aware that this is possible for regular database scanning. By the way, my friend does not use the iTunes plugin. How do you configure that; is it just by not using the rescan database plugin? Also, wouldn't that result in the same problem: how does the scanner know that music is added to the database? I personally don't find it very user friendly to power up a tv or monitor to switch off the wandboard. An electronic remote (smartphone or tablet) would be more acceptable for this purpose because most of use already use the remote to control the wandboard. 1 x SB3, 1 x SB Boom, 1 x SB Radio and 2 x SB Touch - all wireless 1 x Wandboard Dual behind the bedroom ceiling 1 x Wandboard Dual for 'msqueeze' (http://www.msqueeze.co.nf/index.html) project ReadyNAS NVX running LMS 7.7.3. w iTunes plugin iPeng 7 on iPhone.
