Thanks for helping here - I don't use up-sampling myself.

You can specify the above mentioned parameters in the "Squeezelite
Settings" page use the "Upsample" input field (don't use -r as it is
automatically added) so your command would be "192000 -u X". 
I just tried this setting and got CPU load about 32% (not overclocked)
compared to 4% when not using the up-sample option.

If you get glitches you could try to overclock the RPI - use the
"Tweaks" page.
