Vortex box has the ability to run several instances of squeezelite at the same time , provided that you have outputs for them for example two or more USB dac's . OP wants to use his 6 ch sound card as 3 separate stereo outputs to diffrent zones . And reading the VB forum several people has done that successfully . its seems complicated and you probably have to understand more than a bit about your sound-card and Alsa and LInux in general . Which i don't do . OP had also cut and pasted some solution that worked for probably completely different hardware to his asound.conf file ? ? *More info on the hardware is needed . *OP must get some knowledge on his own about Alsa too ,otherwise his depending that someone with exactly the same Asrock PC and VB2.3 already done it . I think its a bit to complex for remote help unless you are really good and want a really long tread . -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub.
