He intends to use them in different rooms to play stereo ? probably installed speaker wires or rca cables to 3 or 4 room's , he indicates multiple amplifiers. Thats feasible , sync the same content who knows . The more reasonable idea is ofcourse to use wifi or ethernet and place actual squeezeboxes or picore-players or some old phone or other devices with some software player in it in all the room's .
