Have you tried a complete new setup of the Odroid U3 with Max2Play? Means writing a new SD-card with an actual image. - no. This was a brand new install, and I've only used it for squeezebox purposes. Do you think it worthwhile? Have you tried with another USB-drive, another USB-cable, another power-supply, ... ? -USB cable - yes. Otherwise no. The drive seems to scan just fine, and the library is a local copy of that which is on my WHS box. Whatelse is connected to your Odroid? - Nothing. Wifi only Is your Odroid running at its limits (mpstat)? - I can't figure out how to make mpstat work -- I used top -n2 and its second section reported back %Cpu(s) 6,0 us, 19.4 sy, 0,0 ni, 74,5 id 0,0 wa, 0,0 hi, 0,1 si, 0,0 st -- does that help?
