I tried this but had to modify it a bit to include the mac address of my player. It seems that this set of parameters upsamples everything to 96kHz. It seems to play fine, but I want to avoid any upsampling, so it's not optimum. I removed the -u hMX and tried once more, but I'm back to the high distortion. I see from your sig line that you own a high-end TEAC DAC -- have you managed to get it to play native 96khz via an asynchronous stream?
