picoreplayer (without Jivelite active) running on an RPi (using HDMI or a DAC+, depending on location) provides all that I consider must-have. Usually, there's a tablet or smartphone floating around for now-playing display and control. However, I'd consider a small now-playing display a nice-to-have. A few physical buttons for control would be a nice-to-have, too. But that's *very* far down my list. I'd probably use those buttons as rarely as the the ones on my AVR (like, 0.01% of the time). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ poing's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63617 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
