Maybe I'm misunderstanding but I think there is a difference between
"off" and "shutdown" none of the control apps you list allow a
shutdown.

An "off" from any of those apps mearly seem to turn the output off,
squeezelite is still running. (which is great becuase I use the "output"
led on my Hifiberry DAC+ to control my power amp) Whereas "Shutdown"
stops the Raspberry and you must power cycle to restart it.

I initailly thought that a "shutdown" button on the "Basic" screen would
be good but changed my view as I rarely (and dont have to) use it.
