But when I drive my Ferrari it feels like a car" The question is probably better put "Can you tell me why my 24bit music is shuttering when using rpi running kodi and in the background squeezelite" The answer is probably that Kodi is taking resources that squeezelite needs when running. Picoreplayer is a fairly minimal system specifically made to run squeezelite.
